How To Turn Off Demo Mode On a Toshiba TV
When you first buy your Toshiba TV, demo mode is on by default. This means that when you're in a busy store and looking to compare which TVs are best for you, the picture quality and clarity won't be quite what they will be when you bring them home and set them up. This is because of the way the TVs are configured in a store, with multiple devices plugged in at once and lighting that's more suitable for browsing than watching. The shop environment also means that there are hundreds of people around, so the volume is set higher than would be normal in your living room. Once you get it home, though, you’ll want to turn off the demo mode.
To make sure your TV delivers the full experience it was meant to offer, here's how to turn off demo mode:
-Press "Menu" on your remote control
-Under "Setup," select "Channel Setup"
-Select "Store Demo"
-Press enter to turn Store Demo off or on
